Parkland Library gets green light to go out to bid on addition that would double space

The Parkland Library’s quest for more space has been littered with setbacks, including a two-time defeat at the polls in a referendum that would raise the funds for a new building. But now library officials say they’re forging ahead with an expansion plan that will double the facility’s space and won’t require a tax increase.
