Three Route 248 bridges in Northampton County closed for replacement

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has closed three Route 248 bridges in Northampton County for replacement work.Two of the bridges are in Moore Township. One is over Hokendauqua Creek and the other is over a tributary to the creek.Work on these two bridges should start in June and be completed by the end of this year, according to PennDOT.The third bridge is over the Monocacy Creek’s East Branch in Upper Nazareth Township.
