The National Weather Service’s Mount Holly, New Jersey, forecast office has received 4,106 storm report so far this year — more than any other forecast office in the country. Meteorologists there have also issued 51 tornado warnings this year, more than their counterparts working in the famed “Tornado Alley” of the Midwest.
