Allentown is losing another police chief. Glenn E. Granitz Jr., who has served as Allentown’s police chief since Sept. 2019, has accepted the same position in West Reading, Berks County. Granitz will become part of a crowded field of ex-chiefs who have left the job for a variety of reasons.
