Rodale Institute is hosting its annual Organic Field Day on July 19 for the public to learn and interact with experts on Rodale’s latest research projects.Rodale Institute is hosting its annual Organic Field Day on July 19.Stations will be set up throughout the 333-acre organic farm, where the public is invited to explore. The event — from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Rodale Institute, 611 Siegfriedale Road, Kutztown — costs $25. Participants may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch on site.Demonstrations will cover topics such as Agriculture Supported Communities, honey bee conservancy, and industrial hemp. Rodale will also offer wagon rides from site to site.Last year, the event attracted over 400 participants including farmers, gardeners and university students from over 14 states and three countries, Rodale said.
