It was with excitement I read in The Morning Call the update concerning the Neuweiler building along Front Street in Allentown. Short and simple, when a city is fortunate enough to have a waterfront to develop, it is welcome news to learn of continued growth along its banks. The update about the renovations to the Neuweiler building should be another impetus to bring visitors, tourist, residents and additional businesses to this stretch of land.We all see the growth in Allentown. Can you imagine the gem we will have with continued waterfront development?Linda MerkelHanover Township, Northampton CountyThe writer is executive director of America On Wheels Museum, Allentown. The Morning Call encourages community dialogue on important issues.
