Punished for good deed: Lehigh Valley distillers making hand sanitizer during pandemic slapped with FDA fee

The Food and Drug Administration had slapped distilleries that shifted to making hand sanitizer during the pandemic with a $14,060 fee, causing distillers in the Lehigh Valley and elsewhere to cry foul. Fortunately, the Department of Health and Human Services heard their plea.
