Pfizer vaccine approved for children as young as 12 years old will get ‘life back to normal,’ Lehigh Valley parents say

On Monday the FDA authorized the use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on children 12 to 15 years old based on results from clinical trials that show the vaccine is safe and highly effective at preventing COVID-19 for adolescents. For some parents and children in the Lehigh Valley, the authorization of the vaccination for tweens and teens has been a long time coming.
