A record 6,446 people were in Pennsylvania’s hospitals with COVID Thursday, with 1, 057 in intensive care units, and 641 on ventilators. The state added 27,364 to it case total, off Wednesday’s record high, but Lehigh and Northampton counties took the top two spots for infection rates, when adjusted for population.
