The Pennsylvania Health Department reported 24,862 cases this week, down from almost 30,000 last week. It is the first time in more than a month that case numbers are decreasing. Hospitalizations are slightly higher than last week statewide, but down in the Lehigh Valley. Monroe County recorded the second-highest rate among the state’s 67 counties.
