Pennsburg man beats and chokes Hereford woman, police say

A Pennsburg man was arrested early Friday for beating and choking a woman in the presence of a 2-year-old boy in Hereford Township, police said. Zachary Ferketich, 27, choked the 27-year-old woman until she passed out at the Bob White Road home, state police at Reading said. Police were dispatched…
