Distracted driving caused a crash that killed a passenger Sunday in Berks County, state police said Wednesday.The 12:27 p.m. crash occurred on Interstate 176 south, just north of the Shiloh Road overpass, in Caernarvon Township.Keilah J. Baldwin, 20, of Reading, was driving a 2000 Honda Civic when distracted by a rear-seat passenger and taking her eyes off the road, police said. The car skid off the road, hitting a road sign and then a fallen tree.During the skid, the front-passenger-side door opened. Front-seat passenger Talisha N. Munoz, 21, of Reading, who police said was not seat-belted, was thrown from the car and then hit by the car.Munoz was later pronounced dead.
