The firm redeveloping the historic Neuweiler Brewery site near Allentown’s riverfront is seeking almost $2 million in Neighborhood Improvement Zone subsidies to help cover the roughly $4.5 million price tag on the project’s initial phase. Brewers Hill Development Group plans to convert a former bottling shop into a three-story, 42,000-square-foot office building over the next 18 months, with occupancy beginning in early 2022. Managing partners Joshua Wood and Alex Friedman have secured an anchor tenant — their other business, Ruckus Marketing.
