Martin Tower, once Bethlehem Steel’s world headquarters, is vanishing from Bethlehem’s skyline this year after a 47-year reign as the Lehigh Valley’s tallest building.The 21-story, cruciform-shaped structure once housed the elegant offices of the Steel’s top executives. Construction started in 1969, and the building opened in 1972.Here’s a look back at the tower’s history:
