Lehigh Valley licensees cited in May for liquor law violations

The State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement in May cited 26 licensees in Lehigh and surrounding counties for liquor law violations.Each licensee will have the chance to defend itself against citations before an administrative law judge. The judge may impose a fine, suspend or revoke the establishment’s liquor license or mandate training, depending on how serious the violations are if proven.The following Lehigh County licensees were cited:* St. Francis Society in Allentown for violations including access to gambling, lotteries, pool-selling and/or bookmaking on the premises.* Louie’s Restaurant in Allentown for providing one or more alcoholic beverages to a minor.* St. Aloysius Young Men’s Society in Allentown for violations including not maintaining records in accordance with the Liquor Code.* DND Grill LLC in Allentown for smoking or allowing smoking where prohibited.* Jack’s Pizza, Inc., in Allentown for providing one or more alcoholic beverages to a minor.* Palace Pizza, Inc., in Whitehall Township for providing one or more alcoholic beverages to a minor.* Red Lobster in Whitehall Township for providing one or more alcoholic beverages to a minor.* Bravo Cucinna Italiana in Whitehall Township for providing one or more alcoholic beverages to a minor.* Hokendauqua Fire Company 1 in Whitehall Township for not maintaining complete, truthful records for two years in accordance with the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act.* Jalapenos LLC in Whitehall Township for a RAMP training violation.* Randalls On The Orchard in South Whitehall Township for transporting malt or brewed beverages without a license.* HJ & VJ LLC in Hanover Township for violations including not cleaning its malt or brewed beverage-dispensing system weekly.* Roma Ristorante in Hanover Township for violations including transporting malt or brewed beverages without a license.* Old Post Inn in Washington Township for transporting malt or brewed beverages without a license.* Fossils Last Stand LLC in Catasauqua for using or allowing the use of a loudspeaker heard beyond the licensee’s property.The following Northampton County licensees were cited:* Grille 3502 LLC in Bethlehem for a RAMP training violation.* TBS Venture Inc. in Bethlehem for violations including providing alcoholic beverages to a visibly intoxicated patron.* Spanky’s East in Wilson for violations including letting an employee contact or associate with patrons for a lewd purpose.* Petersville Rod And Gun Club in Moore Township for violations including selling alcoholic beverages to non-members.* SE. WY. CO. Fire Company in Lower Saucon Township for violations including not maintaining records in accordance with the Liquor Code.* Red Robin Burger & Spirits Emporium in Lower Nazareth Township for not complying with an administrative law judge’s order on responsible alcohol management.* Belfast Corp. in Plainfield Township for violations including bedrooms insufficient in number and/or inadequately equipped.The following Berks County licensees were cited:* Kutztown Rod And Gun Club in Greenwich Township for not maintaining complete, truthful records in accordance with the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act.The following Schuylkill County licensees were cited:* White Birch Golf Course, Inc., in Rush Township for not notifying the Liquor Control Board within 15 days of changing officers, directors and/or stockholders.* Sparetime Lanes in Rush Township for transporting malt or brewed beverages without a license.* Citizens Fire Company 1 in Tamaqua for violations including an unlawful raffle.Morning Call reporter Andrew Scott can be reached at 610-820-6508 or ascott@mcall.com.
