Allentown’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be a bit shorter this year, as many union members are expected to skip the march because of a spat with organizers over candy-throwing and supposed rowdy behavior.The Lehigh Valley Labor Council is asking members to not participate this March 22, which would significantly shrink the parade.
