As the coronavirus pandemic was causing the rest of Pennsylvania to shut down, supermarket workers were restocking for panicked shoppers who were emptying out shelves. They were managing endless check-out lines and working overtime to accommodate the surge in customers that hit during the early days of the pandemic. And all the while, they have put themselves at risk of catching the virus, coming in contact with more people on a daily basis than is safe.
