Good Shepherd Pediatrics is partnering with Lehigh Valley United to host a free soccer clinic for children with additional needs at SteelStacks in Bethlehem at 2 p.m. June 20.The clinic is open to children ages 4-17 with additional needs who would like to learn the sport of soccer. Attendees will learn skills like dribbling, passing and shooting with one-on-one instruction from Lehigh Valley United players and coaches assisted by the Good Shepherd Pediatrics staff. Lehigh Valley United is a local soccer club with teams in various age groups.“Our pediatric therapists will be on hand to guide and support every child who participates,” said Jennifer Schueck, a Good Shepherd Pediatrics Occupational Therapist.A FIFA World Cup SoccerFest & Viewing Party and soccer-related activities will be offered at SteelStacks June 11, 16 and 20 during the Women’s World Cup in France from June 7 to July 7.For more information and to register for the clinic go to discoverlehighvalley.com/soccerfest/.
