Father Gambet, ‘visionary’ priest who helped turn cornfields into a major Lehigh Valley university, has died

Former DeSales University President Daniel G. Gambet, 92, has died. He became the second president of the private, Center Valley Catholic university in 1978, retiring in 1999.
