Center City residents say NIZ isn’t working for them

While the NIZ features a hockey arena, new office towers and a trio of luxury apartment buildings it has done little for the old neighborhoods that remain beyonds its borders, residents said at a town hall on gentrification and displacement. About 40 people gathered at the event put on by Lehigh Valley Stands Up, a political action group affiliated with the statewide Pennsylvania Stands Up.
