Bethlehem mayor gives support for proposed flatiron-style building with 90 apartments, but historic commission worries about size

Despite being recommended by Mayor Robert Donchez, the city’s Historic Conservation Commission this week rejected plans for a 90-unit, mixed-use apartment building that would replace two dilapidated, long-vacant buildings at the gateway to Bethlehem’s South Side.
