Authorities identify man hit and killed by train in Macungie

Authorities have released the name of the man who died when he was hit by a train Friday in Macungie. He was Gregory Wippel, 35, of Fountain Hill, and he died of multiple traumatic injuries, the Lehigh County coroner’s office said Sunday. Wipple was pronounced dead about 10:25 p.m. on the railroad…
