Allentown sees drop in violent crimes in 2020, and no shots fired by police officers

Allentown saw an 11% drop in violent crimes in 2020, according to city data. Other victories include the most guns taken off city streets in a year and the fact that officers did not fire a single shot over the course of the year, police Chief Glenn Granitz Jr. said.
