Political momentum to end chronic homelessness in Allentown continues to build — just in time for an influx of federal aid. The city learned last week it will receive nearly $3.5 million via the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan to help create affordable housing and services for people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness.
