After many months and four hours-long public hearings, Abe Atiyeh’s senior care complex proposed for a parcel in Lower Macungie Township has been approved to head toward the land development process, with a list of conditions. The project, previously called “Macungie Manor,” has been controversial with nearby residents, who are worried about traffic and stormwater runoff.
