After 121 years, Holy Trinity in North Catty, the Lehigh Valley’s first Orthodox church, closes its doors

The parish at Holy Trinity Orthodox Catholic Church in North Catasauqua — known to the rest of the Lehigh Valley for its annual paska bread and kielbasi sales, but known historically as the region’s first Orthodox church — decided to close its doors this fall, after 121 years.
