103 people ask Allentown Diocese for compensation for abuse by priests

A total of 103 people have applied to an Allentown Diocese compensation fund for the victims of sexual abuse by diocesan priests, and more than $5 million has already been paid out to 30 victims, administrators of the fund said Thursday. The fund was set up after a state grand jury last year found 37 Allentown priests accused. The diocese has since added 20 names to the list.
