Trans-Bridge Lines is a company apparently immune to irony. In my experience on its New York City runs, as many as a dozen people are often left standing in the aisles from Clinton, New Jersey to the Port Authority. As the bus rumbles away — the unfortunate standees holding on for dear life, everyone else packed in like sardines — it then plays a tape announcing that “safety is our No. 1 concern.” This is what happens when monopolies rule.Jack McCallumHanover Township, Northampton CountyThe Morning Call encourages community dialogue on important issues.
