Pennsylvania coronavirus update: Lehigh Valley case rate plummets 72% in 12 days as ICU occupancy dips below 1,000

The winter surge continues its rapid decline in the Lehigh Valley as rates drop 72.2% in less than two weeks. The statewide case rate dropped 46.5% in the same period. Fewer than 1,000 COVID patients are in the state’s ICU beds for the first time since Jan. 1.
