The son of a Whitehall Township man who died of the coronavirus alone in a San Francisco hospital has sued Carnival Cruise Line, alleging his father contracted the virus on one of its ships.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on behalf of Carl Weidner’s son, Christopher Weidner of Walnutport, alleges Carnival knew that at least one passenger aboard an earlier cruise on the Grand Princess was infected.
