St. Luke’s presenting community health needs assessments, public invited

Through a series of public presentations, St. Luke’s University Health Network will lay out its top three health priorities as part of its 2019-22 Community Health Needs Assessments. The first presentation will take place 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lehigh Carbon Community College’s Morgan Center, 234 High St., Tamaqua, according to a news release.The next two scheduled presentations are scheduled for: 4 p.m. June 11, at Nitschmann Middle School, 1002 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem.9:30-11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, at Northampton Community College, Monroe Campus, Keystone Hall, Room 202, Tannersville.Additional presentations are planned for Allentown at the Sacred Heart Auditorium on September 20, and for Quakertown and Easton communities in Pennsylvania and Warren County in New Jersey. The time and place of these presentations are to be determined.“The top three health priorities identified are: 1) improving access to care and reducing health disparities; 2) promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing chronic disease; and, 3) improving mental/behavioral health,” said Rajika E.
