Many of the roads in the Easton area are in poor condition, especially by the new Lidl on Freemansburg Avenue. The construction took a really long time, caused a ton of traffic over many months and the roads were never fixed. My parents pay a lot of taxes, and the roads should have been repaved right away or Lidl should have paid to fix this instead of having patchy tar all over. Also, the traffic was a big inconvenience and caused people to be late. That location was probably not a good place to have that store because the roads are not set up to have more cars going in and out of that area. At the very least, the roads should have been fixed right away to get the construction over with and not prolong it for all the people who live here. The roads look terrible and are bumpy to drive on. People have jobs devoted to maintaining the roads, so they should get fixed pretty quickly.William SamraWilliams TownshipThe Morning Call encourages community dialogue on important issues.
