Allentown’s four Democratic mayoral candidates spent more than $125,000 combined during the final two weeks of the historically competitive primary election, according to the latest campaign finance reports. In total, the candidates spent about $330,000 on the race, which longtime economic development official Matt Tuerk won with 2,064 votes, a 1.5-percentage-point victory.
